Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty
Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st, 1995 was born in Berkeley California. Her most well-known role is for her acting appearing as a character in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004), and Chrissie Mair's Content House.
Asia Argento is an Italian actor and director of films who came from the largest family with both. She has pursued these two fields of work for herself. When she was nine, Asia made her film debut alongside Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. She played the leading role in Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) as well as part of Michele Soavi's 1989 feature film The Church. Red Wood Pigeon, directed also by Moretti in 1989, featured her part in the role of Nanni Moretti's daughter. Close Friends (1992), directed and written by Michele Placido was the film that really launched Asia's professional path. She was able move from young girl roles to more mature and complicated roles. It was received well in the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma (1996) as well as The Stendhal Sydrome are the others she's worked on with her famous father. The Phantom of the Opera is her third movie together with her father, the first two films being Trauma & The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's absorbed and intense approach to acting was also utilized in the film by Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a Nozze. Patrice Chereau was the director. Queen Margot for which she was also in a key role. The actress was again a part of Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion in 1995, which earned her another David di Donatello, as in addition to a Grolla D'oro. Asia began her career in 1994 as a director she produced two short films: Prospettive (1996), an account of her father's life as well as Abel/Asia (1998), a film about cult filmmaker Abel Ferrara. The latter won an award from the Rome Film Festival. In 1999 Asia was the first to direct a feature film by directing Scarlet Diva (2000), where she played the lead actress as well as the writer for the script. In May of 2000, the film was made available both in Italy and around the globe. This film was awarded during the Williamsburg Festival in Brooklyn, New York. Anna Lou, her first baby, was born in 2001. She has directed numerous music videos. She was in 2002 on the screen as The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton with Jean-Marc Barr and in the action thriller directed in the film by Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia is the creator of a number of short stories that were released in several magazines.
